Space Alien attack from Outer Space (some studies, actually.)

I thought I'd be doing a lot more personal/imaginative stuff over the break.. but then I realized I can't paint as well as I need to in order to work that way. Damn. Anyways, here are some studies I've been doing to get better at drawing/painting the things I like.

First one is a study done in painter from my favorite Sargent. I might want to spend a little (a lot) more time on this one..

 Second, and last for now, study of an 83 Honda BEAT.
